We’re sign enthusiasts and we like to make sure each one is done right. This starts with our materials. Our aluminum is harder and has higher tensile strength than other manufacturers, and is always utility grade. That means our signs won’t bend or tear in the wind.
All of our sign materials meet Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) standards.
Flat Sheet Aluminum
This is the most commonly used substrate for long-term signage. We use sign-grade aluminum. Utility-grade aluminum is softer and will bend over time. Our signs are designed for harsh weather and won’t easily rust or bend.
Blanks are manufactured at our local facilities. The raw aluminum is treated before printing and cleaned, degreased, and tension levelled. We also round the corners and crop the edges to keep workers from injuring themselves while they’re installing the sign.

Highway Extruded Aluminum
These panels are designed for large ground mounts and for overhead information, destination, and guide signs. You can combine as many panels as you need to make the sign any size. We roll 3M reflective sheeting onto the panels, computer cut the letters and symbols, and apply them to the substrate by hand. Then we take the panels into the field and fasten them together to form the complete sign.
Specifications
- Height: 12″ (30 cm)
- Width: 24 ft (7.32 m)
Street Name Extruded Aluminum
These are most often used for municipal street name signs. Our signs are double-faced 3M High-Intensity Prismatic or Diamond Grade sheeting on extruded or flat aluminum blades. They work with any of our street name brackets.
Specifications
- Height: 6″ (15 cm) or 9″ (23 cm)
- Lengths: Variable, depending on street name
- Colours: White on green, white on blue, or black on white
We also carry decorative signs for municipal beautification programs.
Plywood
These high-density overlay panels are made of exterior-grade plywood. They won’t absorb moisture, so they can be used for construction, project, subdivision, and real estate signs, as well as billboards and other outdoor signage.
Specifications
- Gauge: 0.5″ (12.7 mm) or 0.75″ (19 mm)
- Width: 4 ft (1.2 m) minimum
- Height: 4 ft (1.2 m) minimum
Magnetic
Our magnetic material has a white vinyl face that can be painted or screen printed. It can be mounted on vehicles or used for lawn, real estate, and building project signs.
Specifications
- Gauge: 0.30″
Coroplast
Coroplast is used for temporary signs. We find it’s a good fit for election candidates, job sites, sales teams, event planners, and realtors.
Styrene & Polystyrene
High-impact polystyrene is a matte surface that can be used for one- or two-sided digital printing. It’s good for displays, POP graphics, signs, Translights, and TDG or WHMIS cards. We carry sheet and roll stock that can be contour cut for all kinds of shapes.
